CAROLANN BIRNIE BD (Hons), Diploma in Pastoral Supervision and Reflective Practice (IPSRP), is a parish minister in the Church of Scotland who trains students and supervisors. Through APSE, she is an accredited pastoral supervisor. She is an active member of the Scottish Regional APSE, a Facilitator with the Scottish Bible Society in Trauma Healing, an NHS trained community chaplain and a member of the Guild of Health and St. Raphael. She believes that pastoral supervision offers energy, resilience, compassion and courageous conversations as to enhance work practice.
