The theme was “Groupwork within Pastoral Supervision” – originally planned as a residential in June but was successfully re-imagined as an online event.

This had the advantage of being accessible to more members and the recording of the sessions means that most of the programme is now available on the website.

Thanks are due to our keynote speakers, long-standing members Ruth Layzell and Mogs Bazely, facilitators of the Nottingham course in Pastoral Supervision who, working together, delivered entertaining and inspiring in- put on groupwork, followed by the opportunity to work in a small group with a specific supervision method.

On day two, Hilary Ison, one of our recent members who specialises in systems constellations, changed her focus to deliver input on trauma and the pandemic which was received as appropriate and helpful in the current context. We are also grateful to the workshop leaders and all who put in hours of unseen work – including the conference planning group – and everyone who ensured the technical side and the mechanics of the conference flowed.

Positive feedback has been received from all.
