The theme of the 2021 APSE conference ‘Identity – Who do we think we are’ sowed the seed for several delegates from Ireland to explore the possibility of forming an APSE regional group.  A group of seven practitioners met online on 27^th July 2021 to discuss the shape and structure of a regional group, informed by APSE guidelines. Our Group covers the whole Island of Ireland, North and South.

All our sessions to date have been online. We share and discuss a broad range of topics relevant to our supervision practice.  At a most recent meeting, one of our members Dr. Anne Francis presented an overview of her book; ‘Called: Women in Ministry in Ireland’.  Resonance with our own life experiences and relevance to the work of pastoral supervision formed part of the discussion.

Our next meeting is on November 6^th at 5.30pm
