Individual, Group, Team, Supervision of Supervision, and Trainees is offered by APSE senior accredited supervisor and freelance adult formation consultant Tony Nolan. Tony is a member of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC), a religious order within the Roman Catholic tradition. As a member of their international ongoing formation commission, he’s involved in the creation and delivery of online professional training courses in both Group Facilitation and Pastoral Supervision. He lives near Bridgwater in Somerset.
Tony holds an MA in Theology (Celtic Christianity) and postgraduate qualifications in both Consultative (Clinical) Supervision and Conflict Facilitation, and professional qualifications in Mindful-based Supervision (UKCP), Mediation, Group Facilitation, and Appreciative Inquiry. Tony has over 20 years of experience as a supervisor working within various helping contexts, including supervision of supervision, leadership, education, chaplaincy, facilitation, local ministry, and supervision of trainee supervisors. His approach is contemplative, collegial, process-oriented, and systemic, characterised by respectful curiosity. He works in-person, online, and internationally.
Tony is an associate at the Institute of Pastoral Supervision and Reflective Practice (ipsrp.org.uk), a full member and certified supervisor with the Supervisors’ Association of Ireland (saivision.ie), an accredited supervisor with the Association of Supervisors of Ireland (asireland.ie), and a member of the Independent Supervisors Network.
